about

Uncle Boogie is back at it, calling out America for it's seemingly criminal season for African Americans. In this freestyle he talks about how most people are greedily committing tax fraud, which ultimately has its karma. Uncle Boogie warns against submitting fraudulent returns, and encourages honest filing.

lyrics

Ain’t it funny the way money feel, when it’s ya hands?
Woman feeling independent, fellas finally a man,
Couple grands hit the fan, make the people go crazy
Single mothers out the struggle cause they selling all they baby’s.
Literally,
Give you the social, giver her a G,
Submitting federal documents illegitimately.
Going dumb for lump sums,
No more stripping for ones.
At least not until May, when they have spent all they funds.
You give poor customer service till that W2.
Absent dads showing up everywhere out the blue.
Like I paid child support at least every other month,
So that makes me qualified, for me to carry my son.
On the flip side mamma ain’t worked in minute,
Some how made it off that child support and government assistance.
Then you got the street pharmacists and hustlers,
Who claiming businesses and the cost of keeping customers.
Knowing dang well they ain’t quote unquote babysitting
Cooking, but they ain’t catering for the cash they be getting.
But either way that refund hit, so they be winning.
Blowing through the check, saying money made for spending.
Then get mad when them calls come in from they lenders.
Cause they flexing all on social media for a mention.
Ain’t it funny the way money feel, when it’s in ya hand?
You just got a couple grand 'tryna buy you some land
Or a new TV, or a brand new car,
Or a whole bunch of clothes and shoes just to feel like a star.
Got them new fresh frames, and a new gold watch,
I’m talking running up the check, shop till you drop
Exquisite dining, only eating the finest
Well this what I call hood capitalizing
Think they got it made, a false sense of wealth
A lump sum of cash gave them false sense of self.
Let me drop some advice, do ya taxes right!
Cause the last thing you need is IRS in your life.
I’m saying, its so easy do it legit,
Like if you ain’t pay for college don’t say that you did!
And if you ain’t got children don’t say you got kids!
Honestly, just tell the truth about the way that you live!
Believe me they gone find out, cause they not idiots fam.
Cause all American money is related to Uncle Sam
Don’t be calling tax pros when ya wages get garnished.
Can’t say Uncle Boogie didn’t give you this warning!
Done seen too many people, committing tax fraud.
Thinking that the IRS won’t see that as odd.
Then put the dots together and before you know,
You’ll be owing back taxes and can’t file no more.
Not to mention, what you owe starts up building up interest,
Which make that tax debt grow bigger and bigger.
So if you can remember someone owe you 5 dollars,
Then believe the IRS know that you owe em 5 thousand!
